Eradicil
Tuesday 10 February 2009 at 10:51 pm

ERADICIL is used to treat the laundry of people who have: *Athlete's foot *Vaginal thrush * Fungal nail * Impetigo * Ringworm Fungal Infections can often be hard to deal with. Adding ERADICIL medicated laundry pre wash to the treatment programme helps enormously ! Did you know that when a fungal infection is treated the spores live on in socks and throughout other clothing ! A normal wash fails to deal with this even at higher temperatures. So you undo the good work of treating skin or fungal nails. A treatment programme for a fungal infection should include Eradicil added to your washing machine for your clothing. ERADICIL contains a unique combination of two disinfectants. 2-phenylphenol is a strong fungicide that is used as a food additive and in hospitals, to sterilise surgical equipment. Chloroxylenol is an antiseptic that kills a wide variety of bacteria and fungi (including MRSA). These two agents work together to disinfect fabrics at the dilutions experienced in domestic laundry machines. ERADICIL eliminates the germs that breed in your laundry. Regular use can stop cross-infection and help prevent recurrence of the infection. Available from http://www.footcaresales.com/shop/upload/athletes-foot/eradicil-medicated-pre-wash/prod_113.html
Cast or dressing protection
Monday 05 January 2009 at 12:57 am
Help !! is there anything to help my problem, I have seen things that look like a big plastic bag”.
There are several different products on the market to help patients like Fred. Many of the products look like modified polythene bags and can be quite slippy to use in baths or showers or they can only be described as ’showerproof’ rather than for full immersion in water. XeroSox (XeroSox Ltd) Dry Pro ( Xero Products LLC)is a latex product that is quite superior to the modified plastic bag variety. The Dry Pro dressing and cast protector has a small valve on the side which when sqeezed repeatedly removes all the air making a vacuum around the foot and dressing to allow total immersion in water. There is also a clever non slip base that can make the patient feel more secure in the shower or bath. Quality of life is often discussed by professionals in relation to health care, this is one product that allows patients to return to a normal activity that we all take for granted like bathing whilst their foot wound heals.
